An excerpt from "Greater Than Less Than: Level 2" (A Petrol-Fueled Neo-Depression Era Musical) is screening tonight, 12/17/08, at Monkey Town in Brooklyn.

The full premier was 12/13/08 at Reversible Eye in Chicago.

The full international premier will be at the New Beijing International Movie Week in March.

The first half-in-progress premiered at our (international | independent | interstitial) festival on 2/29/08. This version of "><" has also screened at Version>08: DARK MATTER, The New Beijing International Movie Festival (subtitled in Chinese), the Short Film Corner Festival de Cannes, and the Huong Tie Art Museum.

A working prototype of Arturo's Hyper-Cinema Camera, which he is developing with VR designer Tong Kim, was used for the first time in this project!

This 'adult edutainment' film is based on a performance piece developed by Sarah Weis with Kathryn Korosi for their performance art group, The Super-Cool Slūūts of America!, early in 2006. The idea was inspired by conversations between Arturo and Sarah about the petro-dollar and the hidden agendas behind the war in the Middle East concerning currency dominance.
